Parks and Recreation

You know, there was a time when going to the park meant sitting peacefully on a park bench while my Boxer inappropriately sniffed other dogs. And sometimes other people. Either way it was a relatively relaxing experience for me. I brought a book, sat back and read while she tried to make everyone notice her. Today going to the park is a much, much different experience. Going to the park today is a full-on job! There is no time to talk and you can forget about checking your phone! It is a constant intervention between nature and child making sure no one dies in the death pit of acorns.

Happy Mothering!
